Acomplia®

Acomplia® (rimonabant) is the first medicine in a new class: selective CB1 receptor blockers. It is approved in the European Union as an adjunct to diet and exercise for the treatment of obese patients, or overweight patients with associated risk factors such as type 2 diabetes or dyslipidemia.
