Glossary

Name given to all forms of malignant tumours (in contrast with benign tumours) that grow rapidly and which tend to spread. Colo-rectal cancers are malignant tumours that affect the colon or rectum. Surgical treatment is mainly used, possibly completed by chemotherapy and radiotherapy depending on the level of gravity of the disease.
