Scientific expertise in the promotion of healthSanofi-aventis constantly monitors the effect of its products on the health of its employees. Biological and chemical risks are analyzed by two Committees of experts in the field: the Tribio Committee for biological products and the Covalis Committee for chemical substances. Ongoing improvement in safety performanceTraining and prevention are the keys to improving safety performance at the Group. Reducing both the frequency and the seriousness of accidents at work which involve permanent staff, temporary employees or outside service providers is sanofi-aventis' primary objective. The decreasing frequency of work-related incidents is showing that the HSE policy being implemented is proving genuinely effective in the management of occupational hazards.
