Social responsibility

Sanofi-aventis shows its real concern for the recruitment, working and safety conditions of its personnel around the world and devotes special attention to the health and well-being not only of its employees, but their children as well.

A company that stands by its employees

Apart from the remuneration aspects, sanofi-aventis applies a social policy based on solidarity, showing that it is close to the concerns of its employees, whatever their line of work or status.

The Group's ongoing commitment in favour of recruiting disabled people and keeping them on its staff is an expression of the policy line decided in the early 199Os by Head Office and set out in its "Disabled Mission" specifically dedicated to the respect of this ethical commitment.

Helping the employees' children also

The Group's social responsibility is illustrated by numerous actions such as the Young Drivers initiative and the setting up of the association "Our children matter", partly financed by the Group and the donations of employees.

The association's sphere of activity is wide: helping and providing support for the personnel's children with health or social problems all over the world.
