Essec sanofi-aventis Chair of Therapeutic Innovation
Truly international, the Essec sanofi-aventis Chair intends to make students aware of the ethical, economic and scientific challenges facing the future of the pharmaceuticals.
Created in 2003, the ESSEC sanofi-aventis Chair aims to meet two objectives:
- to train the future players of the health industry in managing the challenges of therapeutic innovation
- to develop strategic analysis to convert therapeutic advancement into economic and social progress.
Within the program of the 2008/2009 curriculum, Elias Zerhouni, former NIH director, recently appointed Scientific Advisor to Chris Viehbacher has presented the “major trends in Health and Science: implications for biopharma innovation” to a large audience of students, alumni and teachers of the Chair.
Through this partnership, sanofi-aventis takes a proactive role in the training and education of the health industry’s future decision makers.
