Sanofi-aventis’ history and success are the result of the creativity and performance of diverse teams. There is no “typical” profile, training or career path to move forward in the Group.

We want to capitalise on this wealth and promote even further the diversity of teams in the broadest possible sense: experience, sex, age, education, origin, disability, etc.

At Group level, two priority issues appear to stand out across all the functions:

  • gender equality,
  • recruitment and job retention for disabled individuals.

Gender equality

Women represent half of the world’s population and are increasingly active in all regions of the world. At sanofi-aventis:

  • the overall proportion of women is 46%,
  • the number of female managers reached 45% in 2007 and continues to increase.

Employment and Disability

Disability should not be handicap to employment. Sanofi-aventis implements an innovative and proactive policy in terms of insertion, continued employment, awareness-raising among employees and partnership with suppliers, which hire disabled employees.

Our goal is to allow everyone to work on an equal basis and to provide the same professional quality of life for everyone.

Who is considered as a disabled worker?

You should be recognized as a disabled worker under the appropriate regulations.

The WHO definition is: “Loss or abnormality of body structure or of physiological or psychological function, which leads to limitation of work related activities”.

How to apply?

There is no position a priori incompatible with any type of disability, nor any specific positions dedicated to disabled employees. Our recruitment is decentralized in all countries, in which we have a presence.

Therefore we invite you to look at our positions offers on our recruitment pages and to apply by leaving your CV like any other candidate.

At the same time, you can contact our managing disability team to notify your application and the job reference you have applied for if any:
