General meeting 2007

The combined general meeting of sanofi-aventis shareholders was held on May 31, 2007 in Paris.

The shareholders listened to the presentations of Jean-François Dehecq (Chairman of the Board of Directors), Gérard Le Fur (Chief Executive Officer) and Jean-Claude Leroy (Executive Vice President, Finance and Legal) before proceeding to vote on the proposed resolutions.

Voting results

At the meeting, close to 18,000 shareholders who were present, represented or who voted by post notably approved the financial statements for the year ended December 31, 2006. They also agreed on the distribution of a net dividend of 1.75 euro per share, corresponding to a 15.1% increase over the previous year. The total dividend payment was distributed on June 7, 2007.
