Sharp rise in proposed 2007 dividend: €2.07 per share

The sanofi-aventis Board of Directors decided to propose to the shareholders' general meeting on May 14, 2008 to approve a dividend of €2.07 per share, an increase of 18.3% on the previous year. The ex dividend date will be May 16, 2008; the dividend payment date will be May 21, 2008.
