This service, known in French as the service à règlement différé (SRD), enables investors to buy or sell shares on credit in return for a supplementary fee.
Under the SRD service, the buyer does not pay for the shares or take delivery of them until the end of the month, while the seller does not deliver the shares or receive payment until the last trading day of the month. Sanofi-aventis shares are eligible for the SRD service.
