Pharmaceutical business
In the pharmaceutical business, sanofi-aventis counts 15 leading products in terms of net sales ("top 15") in six therapeutic areas: thrombosis, cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, oncology, central nervous system (CNS) and internal medicine.

Human vaccines business
Sanofi Pasteur, the fully integrated vaccine business of sanofi-aventis, is a world leader in the vaccine industry and holds leading positions in most countries offering the broadest range of vaccines in five areas: influenza, pediatric combinations and poliomyelitis vaccines, adult and adolescent booster vaccines, meningitis as well as travel, endemic and measles, mumps, rubella (MMR) vaccines.
