First Quarter 2006 Sales and Earnings

May 5, 2006 Sales growth of 9.6% on a reported basis and 4.9% on a comparable basis

Sanofi-aventis sales and earnings figures for the first quarter of 2006 were presented in Paris on May 5, 2006.
