New Head of sanofi-aventis Communications Department
Michel Labie appointed Senior Vice President, Communications to succeed Nicole Cranois
As from November 1, 2006, Michel Labie is appointed Senior Vice President, Communications of sanofi-aventis. He succeeds Nicole Cranois, Senior Vice President Communications and member of the Group Management Committee since 1985.
Michel Labie will retain his responsibilities of Vice President, Institutional and Professional Relations. He will report directly to the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer and he will be member of the Group Management Committee.
Michel Labie, age 53, holds a Master’s degree in Chinese Traditional Pharmacopoeia. He joined Sanofi in 1981 and opened Sanofi’s bureau in China in Beijing in 1982, where he stayed for 13 years. In 1995, Michel Labie joined the Institutional and Professional Relations Department that he heads since 1999. Since 2004, Michel Labie is Vice President, Institutional and Professional Relations of sanofi-aventis.
